I'm not one to give up easily but seem to be running out of ideas now, oh and hair. ago You do not want a Mac as an engineer. I have a new MBP and just had to buy a PC to run engineering software for school. I have checked that the camera works OK in the native OS and did does in a mulitude of applications More advanced software just don’t have Mac versions, like Rhino (at least a lot of plugins) and SolidWorks. I have also plugged in a USB headset and that then appears within the available options under USB and Bluetooth and is seen by the VM and works well from the small amount of testing I have undertaken. I have downloaded and installed the Windows drivers ready for when I can get the camera seen by fusion. I have searched Google gih and low for an answer and cannot seem to track this down When launching VMware Fusion and selecting Virtual Machine Settings -> USB and Bluetooth I was expecting to "automatically" see the inbuilt iSight Camera as an option for passing thru to my VM (Windows 7) however the only 2 items listed wereįrom checking on Google people see the "Apple iSight Camera" as an option in Fusion however it doesn't appear as an option for me.
